    Branch operations

    • Manage Isiolo branch office. This is branch staff and programs within Isiolo
    •  Work with the branch staff, mainly Community Outreach coordinator, Field officer who constantly interacts with seniors in Isiolo.
    •  Streamline seniors feeding program database.
    •  Enforce and oversee seniors feeding program process flows within Isiolo branch
    •  Support beneficiaries in accessing medical support and access of government assistance for the elderly.
    • Manage branch budget;
    •  Coordinate with specialists in the community and MIC networks to provide care for senior citizen beneficiaries and execute vital programs in the communities.
    •  Meet regularly with cluster heads to track and monitor progress of seniors’ wellness check-in exercises.
    •  Participate in development conferences and events on seniors’ welfare as per extended invitations by organizations catering to the community and government bodies.
    • Coordinate with executive management to implement program changes and devolve directives to branch staff.
    • Work with consultants, experts, volunteers and friends of MIC to empower senior citizens.
    •  Manage documentation of all MIC activities and programs within Isiolo.
    •  Maintain records, databases and prepare reports on all MIC programs in Isiolo.
    • Coordinate with Program Development Manager to manage donations exercises, MIC networks growth and maintenance.
    • Pivoting branch staff in line with MIC’s strategic goals.
    •  Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as assigned by executive management.
    Sustainability Initiative
    •  Reconciliation of farm activities and farm short- and long-term action plans.
    • Overseeing farm projects execution.
    •  Overseeing farm staff welfare.
    •  Resolution of challenges within the farms.
    •  Escalation of farm recommendations, challenges and setbacks to executive management.
    •  Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as assigned by executive management.

    • 5+ years’ experience in the field of social services;
    • Bachelors or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, community development, project management or a related field;
    •  Social Work experience preferred
    •  Previous experience working with non-profit is a plus
    •  Must have excellent organizational, time management, communication and writing skills;
    •  Experience with grant making procedures and reporting requirements of NGOs preferred;
    •  Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
    •  A passion for working in the non-profit space.
    •  A resident or willing to reside in Isiolo.
