He stopped his education at that level and began training as a mechanic to earn a living.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter leaving his mechanical work, he focused on providing for himself through manual labor. He spent much of his time working on other people’s farms and doing small business tasks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWellington married in 1973 and was blessed with three children, but two of them later passed away. His wife also died, leaving him to face life alone after their family land was taken from them by relatives.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe struggled significantly to find food and shelter, often relying on the mercy of others while guarding a compound that was not his own. His only surviving child moved to Uganda and provides no support, leaving Wellington with no family to turn to for help.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe learned about Mama Ibado Charity through field visits in 2023 and was registered into the program on April 1st of that year. He now receives four bags of flour, two kilograms of rice, two kilograms of sugar, two liters of cooking oil, tea leaves, and salt every month.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe support has changed his daily life by removing the constant worry of where his next meal will come from.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWellington reflects on the profound difference the intervention has made for his survival.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\"These are the people who have carried me in my life up to this moment, and I am truly grateful for the peace I have now.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe remains in need of assistance because he is elderly, landless, and has no surviving relatives nearby to offer care.
