The feeding programme is the most outreached solution to help the vulnerable elderly from different communities in Kenya. This programme is the core activity of the organization and it entails providing food assistance to the less privileged elders in Isiolo and Kakamega Counties. Currently, we are supporting a total of 800 beneficiaries with the intention of increasing this number to 1000 by end of 2023. According to the National Council for Population and development (2016),there are approximately 7,586 elders above 60 years in Isiolo County and 71,249 in Kakamega County. This means we are catering to 7% and 0.1% of the elderly population in both Counties respectively.
