Hussein Sadala was born in 1950 in Marrum, Kakamega. He grew up in a large family of nine children, including six brothers and two sisters.
He attended school at the Salvation Army. He stayed in school until he finished Form Six and then began looking for work to support himself.
After completing his studies, he began his adult life by performing manual labor like digging trenches. He eventually moved to Nairobi to seek better opportunities as a casual laborer before returning home to further his skills.
He trained as a heavy machinery operator and earned his license while working for a private employer. In 1974, he secured a position with the Ministry of Works, where he served as a Grade 3 driver until his retiremen...
