SEBERINA NKOYAI KARITHO

Seberina Nkoyai is a devoted mother and grandmother whose life reflects years of dedication, responsibility, and care for her family. Her journey speaks to the experiences of many women who carry the weight of their families with resilience and determination.

Over the years, Seberina took on different roles to provide for her household. She engaged in small-scale farming, working the land in hopes of producing enough to sustain her family. In addition to this, she sold charcoal, often loading it onto a donkey and traveling from place to place in search of customers. These daily routines required both physical strength and persistence, and they became part of her way of life.

Through her efforts, she was able to raise her children and meet their needs as best as she could. Her days were filled with responsibility, and her focus remained on providing and caring for her family. While her work was consistent, the nature of these livelihoods often made it difficult to achieve stability, and there were times when meeting basic needs remained a challenge. Despite these circumstances, Seberina continued to press on, guided by her sense of responsibility and love for her family. Her life reflects not only hard work but also endurance, patience, and the ability to keep going even when circumstances were uncertain.

A turning point in her journey came when Mama Ibado Charity enrolled her as a beneficiary. This marked the beginning of a more stable and supported phase in her life. For the past four years, she has been part of the program, receiving assistance that has brought meaningful change and relief to her daily living. Through the program, Seberina now receives consistent food support, including wheat flour, rice, milk, sugar, and other essential items. This support has helped ease the burden of providing for herself and has ensured that her basic needs are met more reliably. It has also brought a sense of comfort and reassurance, knowing that she is not facing life’s challenges alone.

In addition to food support, Seberina has also benefited from access to healthcare services. At one point, she experienced ear problems that affected her well-being, but she was able to receive treatment at the Mama Ibado Charity clinic. Today, she is in good health and continues to access medical care whenever needed, which has contributed to her overall quality of life.

Seberina expresses deep gratitude for the consistent support she has received over the years. She acknowledges the difference it has made in her life and appreciates the care extended to her.
