Solomon Mwasiagi Ejinda

Solomon Ejinda was born in 1942 in Maragoli.  He later moved to Kakamega in search of a better life, but the journey was far from easy. He arrived with nothing, no house, no land and for years, he undertook various casual jobs, including working as a security guard, just to make ends meet.

"I was suffering a lot," Solomon recalls. Despite his hard work, he faced immense hardship and struggled to provide for himself and his family. The turning point came when he was at his lowest, having lost his job and moved back home.

It was then that Mama Ibado Charity found him. "Mama Ibado truly saved me," he says, his voice filled with gratitude. The organization began providing him with essential food items like rice, flour, sugar, tea leaves, and salt. This act of kindness was more than just a meal; it was a lifeline that completely transformed his life.

Before the support from Mama Ibado, Solomon was constantly worried about where his next meal would come from. Now, he has found a sense of peace and stability. His story is a testament to the power of human kindness and the profound impact a simple act of charity can have on someone's life.

As he reflects on his journey, Solomon's hope for the future is clear. "May God bless and protect Mama Ibado Charity, that they may continue providing us with food," he says. His words are a heartfelt prayer for the organization that gave him a second chance and a new sense of hope.
