Solomon Mwasiagi Ejinda

Solomon Ejinda was born in 1942 in Maragoli.  He later moved to Kakamega in search of a better life, but the journey was far from easy. He arrived with nothing, no house, no land and for years, he undertook various casual jobs, including working as a security guard, just to make ends meet.

"I was suffering a lot," Solomon recalls. Despite his hard work, he faced immense hardship and struggled to provide for himself and his family. The turning point came when he was at his lowest, having lost his job and moved back home.
